“Workshop of Oniwayaki Pottery Making of the Kikkawa Clan and Seal Engraving” was held!

On Saturday, April 22, 4 people participated in the first event of the year. Everyone enjoyed the tenkoku engraving and Tada ware pottery experience.

On the day of the event, the weather was fine, and Iwakuni Castle was beautifully viewed from the lobby of the museum.

“Nanae Yae” is a confection derived from a waka poem written by Prince Kaneakira. This sweet has a beautiful bright yellow color and is perfect for this season when the fresh greenery is approaching.

Thank you to everyone who participated!
The next meeting will be held on Saturday, May 27th.

If you would like to participate, please apply directly on the Yoshikawa Historical Museum website or by phone!
